TENURE TRACK POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
PHYSICAL/BIOLOGICAL ANTHROPOLOGY
UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH ALABAMA
The University of South Alabama Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in anthropology to begin August 15, 2012. For this appointment, we seek a broadly trained biological anthropologist, an active researcher with a commitment to a four-field undergraduate curriculum. In addition to physical/biological anthropology, candidates should be willing to teach one or more of the following: forensics, paleoanthropology, or medical anthropology. Preferred candidates will enhance faculty diversity and establish collaborative relationships with our Colleges of Medicine or Nursing or other academic units, such as the Criminal Justice Program. PhD in anthropology required by time of appointment.
