We are excited that you are interested in our program at the University of South Alabama. The Department of Communication meets individual performance and career needs with a flexible curriculum. Students select one of the concentrations offered and confer with their advisors to plan their courses of study. These focused areas of study help to prepare students for many employment possibilities.
The graduate award ceremony and reception is Friday, May 6th from 5 until 7 p.m. in CB 160. Our guest speaker is Frye Gaillard, whose award-winning book "Cradle of Freedom: Alabama and the Movement that Changed America," was this year's Common Read book for the USA campus.
To expand on skills learned in the classroom and enhance the total college experience, our students have the opportunity to participate in our eight field-related organizations. Because each provides an unique experience, students are encouraged to become involved with multiple groups.
