Then you should consider the Global Engagement Certificate! The 17 hours of coursework and nine credit hours of globally engaged activity required to complete the Global Engagement Certificate, which will largely overlap with your major, will help you learn to:
· better communicate and work with people from other backgrounds, whether colleagues, clients or patients
· improve your oral and written communication skills
· build critical thinking and collaborative working skills
· be able to analyze an issue from a variety of perspectives.
The goal of the Global Engagement Certificate is to recognize the work and commitment of USA students during their studies at the University that has prepared them to be actively engaged global citizens and effectively navigate the global workplace. The program is open to all degree-seeking undergraduate students at the University of South Alabama. Application to the program, admission, and advising are required.
