How to Register for CITI Training and Add CITI Courses

Step 1

Navigate to the CITI Program and click Register:

CITI training must be affiliated with USA. In the search bar, enter University of South Alabama and select it. Check off the two boxes at the bottom of the screen and proceed to the next screen.

Complete the registration steps:

  • Enter your personal information
  • Enter your country of Residence
  • Create a Username and Password
  • Click Finalize Registration

Log into CITI with your username and password.

After logging in, you should be on the Courses landing page. Click View Courses for modules associated with the University of South Alabama.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Add a Course.

Select the Biosafety/Biosecurity module. Then click Next.

Select the Initial Biosafety Training course. Then click Next.

The required Biosafety course (s) are now a part of your active course listing. Once training is completed, please save your training certificate (s) to your computer. Training certificates must be linked in IRBNet.
