The University
of South Alabama Instructional Design & Development Program offers
two graduate degrees - the Master's of Science and the Doctor of
Philosophy.
The Master's of Science in Instructional Design & Development is a
40 hour program that prepares students to work as Instructional
Designers,
Training Specialists, Multimedia Developers, and a number of other jobs
in the education and training field.
The Doctor of Philosophy degree emphasizes research and prepares
students to work in higher education or in business and industry.
Students with a Master's Degree in Instructional Design &
Development can be admitted directly into the Ph.D. program.
Students without a Master's degree in IDD or students just completing
an undergraduate degree can be admitted into the Pre-Doctoral Track.
