The Health Systems Grants Administration and Development Office provides administrative services and support to faculty who are involved in extramural sponsored activities.
The primary functions of this office are:
Investigation and evaluation of grant opportunities
Preparation of materials necessary to assist faculty to create competitive grant proposals
Internal review and processing of grant applications
Electronic submission of grant applications and J-I-T information
Coordination and administration of post-award procedures and activities
Contract and subcontract negotiation
Liaison between the USA Health Sciences division and sponsoring agencies
Liaison between the USA Health Sciences division and the Office of Technology Transfer
First point of contact for Material Transfer Agreements, Invention Disclosures and Confidentiality Agreements
Provide in-service training to faculty and staff
Ensure compliance with Health Sciences division/College of Medicine, University and agency business practices, procedures and regulations
