You have probably been considering medical school for a while. This is a general timeline of actions required to launch your plans for medical school. Many details of the application process are not discussed here. It is wise to consult your pre-med college advisor before getting started.

April of your junior year in college take the MCAT

Before June 1, after junior year, decide where to apply.

June 1 - AMCAS applications will be available.

July 1 - November 15 - we receive the AMCAS applications and send out secondary applications.

July 15 - December 31 - Applicants return secondary applications, qualified applicants are invited to interview.

Early Decision Applicants return secondary applications by September 1.

October - March - Interviews!

Early Decision Applicants begin to interview as soon as September 1.

March 15 - Acceptances are mailed. Alternates notified by end of April.


Return registration deposit within two weeks after acceptance, indicating your intent.
