Graduates of this program will earn a DNP degree and be eligible
to seek national certification as Nurse Administrators
(executive level) once they meet the work or consultation requirement
outlined by the American Nurse Credentialing (ANCC).

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing has set a 2015 date for full implementation of the DNP as the entry level for advanced practice.
