Topics of the evening included proper dining etiquette, utensil choices, appropriate conversation in a dining environment, attire choices, and eating difficult foods. Professional business attire is the preferred dress for admittance; however, a minimum of business casual is required for this event.

Attend the Project: Catwalk Fashion Show to see firsthand how to dress for success for the upcoming HireAJag Spring Career Fair. This event will address how to dress “professionally,” how to obtain interview-appropriate attire on a college student’s budget, how to make good choices regarding professional attire, and understanding the importance of an impactful first impression as part of the career search process.

All currently enrolled Jaguars are invited to attend the JCPenney Suit-Up Event!

Receive an EXTRA 60% off women's and men's career dress apparel, accessories, and shoes (***including sales and clearance career apparel). Everything you need for an interview or on the job.

There will be prizes given away throughout the evening. Sephora will be providing mini makeovers and the salon will offer free consultations and discount coupons for future visits. This event is exclusively for USA students and will be closed to the public. Make sure to bring your Student ID card!

Additional stations will be setup at the event for clothing measurements and demonstrations on how to tie a tie.

The HireAJag Career Fair is held semi-annually during the fall and spring semesters. This fair is a university-wide event open to all majors. The career fair provides the opportunity for employers, students, and alumni to network and discuss full-time, co-op, and internship positions.  

Business professional attire is highly encouraged and a minimum of business casual attire is required. Employers formulate opinions about our USA student and alumni body based upon professional appearance and demeanor. Please plan to represent yourself and the university well by not dressing in casual attire such as jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sandals, flip-flops, etc. Career Services staff may ask that you not enter the fair if you are inappropriately dressed.
