New NSF Award for $1 Million

A new $1M project “Experiential-learning-based Undergraduate Semiconductor Workforce Exploration” was awarded by NSF. The project team includes PI, Dr. Jinhui Wang, Co-PI, Drs. Hulya Kirkici, Clive Woods, and Na Gong from ECE department, and Dr. Shenghua Zha from College of Education.

The team will create and develop a semiconductor course package, a new semiconductor engineering concentration and certificate program. The team believes that this project will attract more students to semiconductor-related engineering programs and increase students’ access to career pathways in the semiconductor field.
