USA Student Kate Frazier Chosen for Mobile Opera Young Artist Scholarship

                        The University of South Alabama Department of Music is pleased to announce that USA music student Kate Frazier has been chosen as one of two recipients of the 2014 Madame Rose Palmai-Tenser Young Artist scholarships from Mobile Opera. Frazier, a soprano, is a junior vocal performance major, studying voice with Dr. Thomas Rowell. In addition to a cash scholarship award, Kate will receive opportunities throughout the academic year to participate in Mobile Opera’s mainstage productions as well as education and community events. This professional experience will augment her academic training to advance her preparation toward a career in the performing arts.
