Please join Dr. Luis Rivera for his Faculty Percussion Recital on Thursday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m.  This program will feature three premieres of new solo percussion works including "No wind, no rain, just a subtle mist" by Dr. Joe W. Moore III for solo prepared vibraphone, "Hexyl" by Dr. Chad Floyd for solo drum set, and "Amalgamation" by Dr. Rivera for solo snare drum.  The remaining works on the program will feature an eclectic array of music that include composers Philip Glass, Marc Mellits, Ivan Trevino, and Stuart Saunders Smith.

Tickets for this Department of Music event will be sold at the door only.  Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or check only).  Persons needing more information about this event or in need of special accommodation may call (251) 460-7116 or (251) 460-6136.
