USA Concert Choir and University Chorale Spring Choral Concert April 14 at Laidlaw!

The University of South Alabama Concert Choir and University Chorale invite you to the Spring Choral Concert presented on Tuesday, April 14. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and will take place in the Recital Hall of the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center. Dr. Laura Moore, assisted by student conductors, will conduct the choirs in a program called "Dona Nobis Pacem."
The choirs will feature works addressing the issue of peace. The University Chorale will perform the four motets of Maurice Durufle and "Island in Space" by the American composer Kirke Mechem. The Concert Choir will be singing powerful and beautiful pieces by Felix Mendelssohn, Aaron Copland, and other contemporary American composers.
Tickets for this Musical Arts Series event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or check only).
