The University of South Alabama Symphony Orchestra, directed by Dr. Robert Seebacher, will present its annual Spring concert on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. The concert opens with Ludwig van Beethoven's "Fantasia for Piano, Choir, and Orchestra" featuring the University Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. Laura Moore, Dr. Jasmin Arakawa on piano, and six vocal soloists as well: Dr. Thomas Rowell, tenor, Dr. Patrick Jacobs, baritone, and four student soloists: Elizabeth Bemis, Kate Frazier, Brianna Smith, and Myles Garver. The evening will conclude with Dvorak's powerful Symphony No. 9, "From the New World."

Tickets for this Musical Arts Series event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or check only). (Pass Holders only please! Held seats not claimed within 20 minutes of the performance may be offered to other concert attendees.)
