Dr. Victor Chavez will present a clarinet recital as the capstone event to USA Clarinet Day 2019 on Saturday, February 23 at 4:00 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center. Dr. Chavez is currently the Assistant Professor of Clarinet at the University of Tennessee Knoxville and host of ClarinetFest 2019! He will present works by Francis Poulenc, Carl Maria von Weber, and Felix Mendelssohn. USA music faculty Dr. Kip Franklin and Dr. Doreen Lee will also perform.

Admission to this Department of Music concert is free and open to the public. Persons needing more information about this event or in need of special accommodation may call 251-460-7116 or 251-460-6136.
