Luis Rivera, Faculty Percussion Recital March 7 at Laidlaw!

Please join the USA Department of Music and Percussion Studio as Dr. Luis Rivera, Director of Percussion Studies at USA, will present a faculty percussion recital on Thursday, March 7 at the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Rivera will be performing an eclectic program on several percussion instruments encompassing classical and folkloric traditions. Featured alongside Dr. Rivera will also be Matt Greenwood, Assistant Director of Bands and Director of Marching Percussion at USA, as both professors will perform selected transcriptions of piano works by composer Max Richter.

Tickets for this Department of Music concert will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or check only). Musical Arts Series season passes will of course be honored for admission to this event.
