Saturday, August 10, 2019 -- 3:00 p.m.
Laidlaw Recital Hall

Nicholas Brownlee, a home-grown Alabama vocalist and University of South Alabama alumnus turned operatic powerhouse, returns to Mobile for a one-day-only concert on Saturday, August 10 at 3:00 p.m. in the University of South Alabama Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. Brownlee, recognized as one of the fastest rising international operatic talents, will perform in this amazing quartet concert alongside award-winning dramatic mezzo-soprano and wife Jennifer Feinstein, as well as Mississippi Gulf Coast acclaimed operatic singers, tenor and USA alumnus Richard Sawyer and his wife, soprano Kate Fleming Sawyer. Also performing will be collaborative pianists Guy Bowering and Cherie Ruff, and the entire concert is expected to feature arias, duets and other ensembles from the repertoire of beloved operas.

Proceeds from USA Department of Music concert will benefit the University of South Alabama Opera Theatre program. Tickets for this event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $15 general with NO discounts (cash or check only). We are sorry, but Musical Arts Series season passes will NOT be honored for admission to this event.
