USA double-reed specialist Dr. Rebecca Mindock, collaborating with USA faculty pianist Dr. Scott Schwab, will live stream her Faculty Bassoon Recital on Wednesday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. Originally planned as a live recital for Fall 2020 but canceled at the time due to complications from the pandemic, this program was instead pre-recorded in pieces in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall and will now be presented in full. This recital features works for bassoon and piano from a diverse strata of living twenty-first-century composers, including H. Leslie Adams, Adrienne Albert, and HyeKyung Lee, as well as a work for solo bassoon by Alexander Wustin, a composer who died last April of COVID-19.

This Musical Arts Series concert is closed to the public and will be accessible only as a live stream event. We trust you will be able to be with us for the concert by going to our linked live stream site - USA Music Department Concert Live Streams.  On this department page you'll also be invited to open a virtual program for the concert and in some cases program notes as well.
