USA Opera Theatre presents Massenet's "Cendrillon" April 21 & 23

USA Opera Theatre will present two performances of Jules Massenet's "Cendrillon" on Friday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 23 at 3:00 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The opera, based on Perrault's 1698 version of the Cinderella fairy tale, will be performed in French with supertitles. USA Opera Theatre is directed by Dr. Thomas L. Rowell.

Advance tickets for this Musical Arts Series event may be purchased in person April 17-21, 1:00-5:00 p.m. in Laidlaw 1072 (Music Department offices). (NO PASSES and NO WILL CALL for the general public.) Admission is $15 general and $10 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or card accepted).  Unsold tickets may be purchased in the Laidlaw Lobby 75-90 minutes before each performance if available (cash or card accepted).  Persons needing more information about this event or in need of special accommodation may call 251-460-7116 or 251-460-6136 and leave a message.

(MAS Pass-holders!  You may email to reserve tickets to be paid for in person April 17-19.  Just email me -- Keith with your name, which performance you wish to attend, how many tickets you need at the $10 and $15 levels, where you'd like to sit if possible, and whether you plan to pay for your tickets in person on April 17, 18, or 19.  Tickets not picked up by April 19 will be released and sold.  This method of purchase is available only to Musical Arts Society members.)
