Dr. Clayton Maddox, tubist, will present a faculty recital on Sunday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The recital is a “Tribute to Women” which will feature both women composers and women performers, including pianist Dr. Doreen Lee, flutist Dr. Andra Bohnet, trumpeter Dr. Julia Bell, hornist Jodi Wood, and euphoniumist Kimiko Yamada. Music will include the tuba concerto "War and Rumors of War" by Barbara York and Florence Price's "Adoration."

Tickets for this Department of Music event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or card accepted presently). Musical Arts Series season passes will of course be honored for admission to this event.
