South Alabama Indian Music Ensemble Recital Dec 15 (3:30)

The South Alabama Indian Music Ensemble will present a recital on Sunday, December 15 at 3:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The concert will consist of classical ragas and semi-classical compositions, as well as the music of Rabindranath Tagore. Vocal pieces will be accompanied by instruments such as the harmonium, tabla, tanpura, ghungroo and sarangi. The ensemble is directed by Dr. S. Raj Chaudhury.
Admission to this Department of Music concert is free and open to the public.
