Lydia Newton, Guest Artist Violin Recital July 18

Lydia Newton will present a guest artist violin recital on Thursday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. Newton recently graduated from the Eastman School of Music with her master’s degree in violin performance, and this fall she will continue at Eastman to pursue her DMA. The program includes violin sonatas composed by Mozart and Beethoven, as well as Amy Beach's "Romance." Joining Newton will be USA faculty pianist Dr. Robert Holm.
