Dr. Peter Wood, trumpet, and Jodi Graham Wood, horn, will present a USA Faculty Brass Recital on Thursday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. Collaborative pianist and USA faculty Dr. Robert Holm will join the Woods in this performance. On the horn side of things, the program will highlight Anton Reicha's "Introduction and Rondo" plus Kevin McKee's "A Winter's Night." Featured trumpet works will include "GG" by jazz pianist Shai Maestro, Carl Höhne's showpiece "Slavische Fantasie," and Adolphus Hailstork's Variations for Solo Trumpet.

Tickets for this Musical Arts Series event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or card accepted). Musical Arts Series season passes will of course be honored for admission to this event.
