Holm & Rollings Two-Piano Recital

Dr. Robert Holm, USA Professor of Piano, and Dr. Benjamin Rollings, guest artist pianist, will present a two-piano faculty recital on Monday, February 2 at 5:00 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The program will include music by Lutoslawsky, Mozart, Poulenc, and Rachmaninoff.

About the Artists

Robert Holm, Professor of Piano at the University of South Alabama, has performed in over 500 recitals in the Mobile area over the past 25 years, including solo, duo, chamber, vocal and choral collaborations. Additionally, he has served as principal pianist for Mobile Symphony since 1999, and also as a regular church pianist since 1998 (currently with Spring Hill Baptist Church). In October of 2025, Dr. Holm was inducted into the Steinway & Sons Music Teacher Hall of Fame, a prestigious designation recognizing the work of North America's most committed and passionate piano educators.

Benjamin Rollings is a native of Gulf Shores, Alabama. At the age of 13, he began studying piano with Dr. Jerry Alan Bush at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Dr. Rollings has taught at the University of Mobile and currently serves on the music faculty at Pensacola State College. Additionally, he is the staff accompanist at Coastal Alabama Community College and has served as the organist for St. Francis at the Point Anglican Church in Point Clear since 2018.
