USA Musical Arts Concert Series for 26-27 Announced

South Alabama's Department of Music is proud to announce the 2026-2027 Season of the USA Musical Arts Concert Series. Performances in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall will begin September 3 at 7:30 p.m. with Ashley Overby & Leonard Ligon presenting their USA Faculty Violin and Bass Recital, assisted by music piano faculty and colleague Dr. Robert Holm. We invite you to join us for that opening event and the whole season of over 40 great series concerts.

Season Passes and the USA Musical Arts Society
Concertgoers are invited to show their support for the University of South Alabama music program by purchasing a Musical Arts Series Season Pass and by joining the department's Musical Arts Society. Please print and fill out the form, returning it to us with your check in the mail. You can also come to the concert and purchase your pass in the ticket line if that works for you. Email or call us with questions!
Additional Ticketed Concerts
Musical Arts Series pass holders may use their passes for admission to nearly ALL Music Department ticketed concerts (except our Spring Opera). We add concerts to our schedule all the time, so check for concert additions and updates at southalabama.edu/music
General Information
If you are new to concerts here at USA, it will be helpful to know that Laidlaw Performing Arts Center concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and at 3:00 p.m. for various weekend events. Individual concert tickets for MAS events and other ticketed events are sold at the door only. Tickets are $8 general admission and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or card). Parking around the Laidlaw building is free. Questions about special accommodation, live streaming or other considerations should be directed to the Events Office via phone or email.
