Call for 2024-25 LevelUP Fellows

Are you passionate about shaping students' futures and making a lasting impact? The USA Office of Academic Enhancement presents the LevelUP Fellows program – your chance to lead and innovate within the LevelUP Quality Enhancement Plan.  As a Fellow, you will develop your leadership skills while positively impacting students' lives through collaboration and creative problem-solving. From championing LevelUP to creating innovative resources and conducting research, you'll play a pivotal role in preparing our students for their next steps. This opportunity is not just about giving back; it's about your personal growth and professional development, as well.

We welcome applications from all full-time faculty and/or professional staff in the Academic Affairs or Student Affairs division whose role positions them to prepare students for their next steps.  The focus of LevelUP is closely aligned with USA’s mission of striving to make a difference in the lives of those it serves through promoting discovery, health, and learning and advances USA’s strategic priority to improve student access and success.

See this information sheet for detailed expectations and requirements. Apply by completing this form by May 17, 2024.

For more information, reach out to Julie Estis, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, Executive Director, Academic Enhancement, at jestis@southalabama.edu or 251.461.1590.

The University of South Alabama’s LevelUP: Uniquely Prepared for What Comes Next Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a campus-wide initiative aimed at uniquely preparing students for what comes next. Through metacognitive reflections, students will synthesize connections among learning opportunities inside and outside of the classroom as they look ahead and plan for their future. LevelUP provides enhanced opportunities for students to develop career readiness competencies that prepare them for life after their degree, as confident, ready, and capable members of the workforce or well-equipped graduate students.
