Information for Employers
The Education Seminar and Career Fair is held semi-annually during the fall and spring semesters. The seminar portion of this event is an opportunity for a selected number of participants to speak to graduating students teachers on a predetermined topic. The career fair portion of this event is open to all students and alumni representing various education-related disciplines. If you represent a school, school district, or other education-related employer, we invite you to attend. While there is no registration fee for this event, space is limited so please register early!
If you have already set up an account in Handshake, our new career management platform, click here as a returning user. Once you have logged in, click on 'Fairs' and search by event title. Click on the event title to go to the registration page.
If you do not have a Handshake account, you will need to create one in order to register for this event. Click here to create a new employer account. Once you have signed up, you will receive an email to verify your information. Click on the link in the email to finish the registration process. After you have finished creating a company profile or joining an existing company, your account will be reviewed. Upon approval, you will then be able to log in to Handshake to post jobs and register for the event.
If your organization is a first time registrant to Handshake and you need assistance, please contact Career Services at (251) 460-6188 or contact the Handshake Help Center directly. Once your account is reviewed and approved, you may proceed to register for the Education Seminar and Career Fair.
