Together We Roar: Celebrating Homecoming 2025
Posted on October 8, 2025
The University of South Alabama will celebrate Homecoming 2025 with the theme “Together We Roar” from Monday, Oct. 27, through Saturday, Nov. 1. Rooted in pride and tradition, the week will feature a full slate of high-spirited events for students, alumni, faculty, staff, administration and the greater Mobile community. The public is invited to all events held Oct. 30-Nov. 1.
One of the most anticipated events will be a live concert featuring Hot Chelle Rae, with opening artist Adam Paddock, performing on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. at the USA Mitchell Center. The concert tickets are free for South students, $10 for faculty and staff and $20 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased at the Mitchell Center. Students can pick up their one complimentary ticket at Jaguar Productions.
“This is an exciting time for Jaguar Productions and the Homecoming committees,” said Jaguar Productions President Morgan Taylor. “We are excited to bring Hot Chelle Rae and Adam Paddock to South as the featured artists for the annual concert.”
Beloved pop band Hot Chelle Rae was founded in Nashville in 2005 and today consists of Ryan Follesé, Nash Overstreet and Jamie Follesé. The band’s hit “Tonight Tonight” topped the Top 40 radio chart and sold over 3 million copies. Artist Adam Paddock is an indie/singer/pop artist from Nashville. When he burst on the scene, he opened for Waka Flocka Flame and MAX as his first full-band show ever in the fall of 2020. Paddock has since opened for other internationally acclaimed acts.
On Oct. 31, the community is invited to a bonfire, fireworks, pep rally and Trick-or-Treat with the Jags starting at 5 p.m. There will be music, food trucks and much more.
On Homecoming Day, Saturday, Nov. 1, tailgating will start three hours before kickoff. The South Alabama Jaguars will take on the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns at Hancock Whitney Stadium. The kickoff game time will be announced soon. Game day tickets can be purchased at Jaguar Athletics.
The homecoming parade and Jaguar Prowl will occur two hours and 15 minutes before the kickoff. The presentation of the South homecoming court will be held at halftime, and homecoming awards will be announced at the end of the game.
