USA and Hancock Whitney have announced an expanded partnership that establishes Hancock Whitney as the “Official Bank of the University of South Alabama.” As part of the agreement, Hancock Whitney will also be the sole provider of the USA Jaguars branded debit card.

“We are pleased and proud to announce this new aspect of our comprehensive partnership with Hancock Whitney,” said USA President Dr. Tony Waldrop. “As the official bank of the University, Hancock Whitney continues to provide exceptional service to USA.”

As the Official Bank of USA, Hancock Whitney will offer the exclusive University of South Alabama Jaguars debit card. Fans can reserve a Jags branded card now the bank’s website, at any local Hancock Whitney financial center, or by calling (800) 448-8812.

The University and Hancock Whitney will continue working closely together to coordinate community engagement initiatives and game-day activities as COVID-19 conditions and protocols allow. Additionally, the bank will provide an array of specified financial products and services to University of South Alabama faculty, staff, and students, including employees of USA Health.

“Hancock Whitney and USA have worked hand-in-hand for many years to create opportunities for people who call southern Alabama home or who choose to build their futures at the university,” said Hancock Whitney Alabama Market President Guy Helmsing. “We’re extremely honored and proud to help bring the Hancock Whitney Stadium to campus. Our becoming the Official Bank of the University of South Alabama is a natural extension of a long-standing partnership between one of the state’s premier global research and teaching universities and one of the country’s most financially sound banks and further advances our mutual commitment to the greater Mobile communities we both serve.”

Fans may follow both the University of South Alabama, USA Jaguars, and Hancock Whitney on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to stay updated on partnership and game-day activities.
