Doc Rock: Call for Bands

Get ready! Get set! Get loud! Doc Rock returns on February 18, 2027, at Soul Kitchen, featuring local bands and benefiting USA Health.

We are officially looking for musical acts for this year's lineup!

Criteria to Apply:

At least one member of your band must be affiliated with USA Health or the University of South Alabama (faculty, staff, student, resident or alumni).
All musical genres are welcome.
Must be able to play a 15-minute set.

Not all bands will be selected.

Undergraduate students explore biomedical research at Whiddon College of Medicine

Six undergraduate students spent the summer immersed in biomedical research at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine, gaining hands-on laboratory experience, presenting their findings, and exploring careers in science and medicine.

Registration is now open for The Mentor Practicum, a cohort-based training designed for faculty, residents, program coordinators, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows.
