Study Abroad Alumni as Southerners

A new class of USA Southerners has been selected. The 12 new members will join existing ambassadors to bring the total to 28. These student leaders represent Jag Pride at campus, alumni and community events. Each new member completed a rigorous three-stage selection process and will begin serving at events in the fall.

The new Southerners are Saniaau Armour, Presley Beasley, Maria Grace Blount, Jacob Cooper, Nico Cooper, Annabeth Cruz, Porter Davis, Ananya Reddy, Katie Shanks, Charlie Snyder, Anna Shirey and Dain Winters.

Ananya Reddy and Anna Shirey are both study abroad alumni. Anna participated in the USA Spanish Language in Spain program in summer 2025 while Ananya went on the USA World Literature after 1650 in Italy in the same summer. Ananya plans to study abroad again to India this summer.
