Professor Brian Axsmith

The passage of time has not made the passing of Professor Brian Axsmith any easier. As a department, as a university, and as a community we are still hurting. We’ve lost a great friend, colleague, and teacher but we all have so many great memories of Brian.

For many of us, Brian’s passing made the harsh, cruel reality of the COVID-19 pandemic real. As the pandemic continues to ravage communities across the globe, the biology department, is urging all of you and your families to stay safe.

Over the last couple of weeks, several fantastic articles have been released detail and eulogizing Professor Axsmith.
