Margaret “Maggie” Braun was elected as the Student Government Association (SGA) Treasurer for the 2021-2022 academic year. Maggie is a biology major and will be starting her senior year in fall 2021. She is from Pensacola Beach, FL and plans to attend dental school after graduating from South. Maggie is active in the Pre-Dental Society and the Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) National Health Pre-Professional Honor Society and is a member of Mortar Board which is a national honor society for college seniors. As Treasurer, Maggie hopes to see an increased participation of students on campus and maximize the funds given per student organization. She plans to create a stronger bond between student organizations and SGA through the values of integrity, solidarity, and vision.
