Concert band audition results have been released for Fall 2026. Congratulations to everyone who auditioned for a concert band this semester!

The USA Wind Ensemble will have its first rehearsal on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 12:00PM in the Laidlaw Rehearsal Hall - please note the later start time in order to allow for music and folder handout.  Instruments will be needed for the first rehearsal of Wind Ensemble.

The USA Symphony Band will have its first meeting on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 11:00AM in the Laidlaw Rehearsal Hall. No instruments will be needed for the first meeting of Symphony Band.

Students needing University instruments should request those instruments on the Department of Music Instrument Rental Page

Students in Wind Ensemble should be enrolled for MUO 127/427/527 and students enrolled in Symphony Band should be enrolled in MUO 117/417/517.  Make sure you are enrolled in the correct ensemble for the appropriate amount of hours (either .5 or 1 credit).

Wind Ensemble rehearses on M/W from 11:15AM-1:10PM and F from 11:15AM-12:05PM.  Symphony Band rehearses on T/TH from 11:00AM-12:15PM.

Note

• Students who enrolled in both ensembles prior to their audition and are only playing in one ensemble should drop the ensemble they are not playing in from their class schedule prior to the conclusion of Drop/Add.
