Read Across America Day

Read Across America Day

You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child. -Dr. Seuss

The faculty staff and students of John Will Elementary School would like to wish you a Happy New Year and once again thank you for partnering with us.

On Monday, March 2, 2015 the United States will be celebrating National Read Across America Day in honor of the beloved author Dr. Seuss.

As a school we dress as Dr. Seuss characters, we have Seussical Celebrations and decorate our halls and classrooms. We the faculty, staff and students of John Will Elementary School offer USA an invitation to join in the fun by volunteering to read a Dr. Seuss book to a class or two. You do not have to stay all day, you do not have to dress up, you don't have to bring anything, we will supply the Dr. Seuss books and there is not a program of any sort. We simply ask that you donate a bit of your time to simply read to the children.

We thank you in advance for your participation and continued support.
