Day of Service

  • The Office of Community Engagement and the Student Government Association partner each spring to bring the University of South Alabama’s Day of Service.  Day of Service is a volunteer event where volunteers connect with co-workers, friends, faculty, staff, friends, and  family to spend the day helping local nonprofit organizations.  The Day of Service unites USA volunteers to complete community service projects within our community, creating a meaningful impact one jaguar at a time!

Squeeze Service into your Schedule

  • Squeeze Service into your Schedule is a service initiative to help students, faculty and staff integrate volunteer work into their existing schedules without overwhelming current commitments.
  • How to Squeeze Service into your Schedule
    • Use South Serves to search for volunteer opportunities that fit within your schedule.  All service is impactful, no matter how big or small your schedule allows you to volunteer.  Look for micro-volunteering opportunities.
