You don't have to be an engineering major or have previous racing experience to get involved. Whether you want to work hands-on with a vehicle, contribute to team operations, support events, or help manage the business side of the organization, there is a place for you to make an impact.

Engineering & Vehicle Development
Help turn ideas into reality through vehicle design, manufacturing, integration, testing, and validation. Contribute to technical projects that challenge you to solve problems and collaborate with other students.

Business & Operations
Support the organization behind the competition. Get involved in project coordination, budgeting, sponsorship development, marketing, communications, and team administration.

Events & Outreach
Help connect Jag Racing with the University community and industry partners. Support events, outreach initiatives, recruitment, and activities that introduce more students to motorsports and engineering.

Active Team Member
Get hands-on.

Request to join a team, contribute to projects, and participate in team activities. Additional eligibility requirements may apply depending on the team and its responsibilities.

Competition Member
Prepare to compete.

Pursue opportunities connected to competition preparation and participation. Competition activities may require additional qualifications, training, safety clearance, or other program-specific prerequisites.

Membership approval and participation eligibility are determined through Jag Racing's established processes.

Do I have to be an engineering major?

No. Jag Racing welcomes students from different academic backgrounds. Opportunities may include technical work, business, finance, marketing, communications, event planning, and organizational operations.

Do I need previous racing or automotive experience?
