Department of Safety and Environmental Compliance is to encourage a safe environment for faculty, staff, students and others by setting standards, monitoring for compliance, providing technical or support service and offering safety education.

The University is committed to maintaining a safe campus and workplace. In an effort to do so, all accidents/incidents occurring on campus must be reported.

Campus officers and staff are dedicated professionals committed to the safety and well being of our faculty, staff, students, and visitors.

Designed to prevent crime and enable better incident response, the LiveSafe technology includes an app for smartphone users that is connected to a cloud-based dashboard monitored by campus safety officials.

All faculty members, students and visitors at USA have an obligation to perform their work in a manner that does not endanger their health and safety, the well-being of others, or the university environment.
