The Gulf Coast Fitness Expo offers a variety of Preconference events throughout the day on Friday, November 11th, 2016.

The BOSU® Complete Workout System will provide you with the formula to make the BOSU® Balance Trainer more effective in your club, your classes and with your clients. Self-myofascial release (SMR) has been shown to relieve muscle and joint pains and improve flexibility and range of motion. This 4-hour workshop teaches the fundamentals of myofascia, reviews the latest SMR research and then dives into the Trigger Point Performance SMR movement philosophy using the GRID foam roller. Participants walk away with practical knowledge and hands-on experience coaching and cueing movements that can be scaled to all-levels of general health and athletic clients for pre- and post-workout foam rolling.

Join us for canoeing or kayaking on the Mobile-Tensaw Delta under the light of the full moon. We will depart the USA Student Recreation Center at 4:00 PM, drive to the Causeway, and be on the water as the sun sets. Bring a light (such as a headlamp, lantern, or flashlight), water, and snacks.
Please note that if you are taking the TriggerPoint Level 1 course (1:00-5:00 PM), you will not be done in time to join the full moon paddle.

Come along on a night hike under the full moon on the Glenn Sebastian Nature Trail, located on the USA campus. We will meet at the nature trail at 7:00 PM, hike, and finish with s'mores around a campfire. Bring water and a light (such as a headlamp, lantern, or flashlight).
