- Foster a safe and fun environment where middle schoolers can connect, ask questions, and grow together
This year’s camp will feature impactful speakers, interactive learning experiences, and access to the University of South Alabama’s recreational facilities, creating a high-energy and meaningful experience for every student.

Featured Speakers

Senator Jeff Sessions has spent his life committed to public service, rooted in strong personal faith and a deep desire to preserve the values that strengthen families and communities. A native of Alabama, Senator Sessions served as a U.S. Attorney, Alabama Attorney General, and ultimately represented Alabama in the United States Senate for over 20 years.
Throughout his career, Senator Sessions has been known for his integrity, strong moral compass, and unwavering dedication to the Constitution. In Washington, he fought to uphold the rule of law, protect religious liberty, and ensure that young people in America have the freedom to live out their faith without fear or compromise.
But even more than his political achievements, Senator Sessions is passionate about the next generation. He believes that the challenges facing our culture will be overcome not just through policy—but through people: young men and women who are grounded in truth, character, and conviction. That belief is what led him to co-launch the high school leadership initiative that inspired this camp.
At Middle School Impact, Senator Sessions will speak to students about courageous faith, what it means to stand for truth, and how to build a life of purpose and principle in a world that often pulls in the opposite direction.
Life Coach • Educator • Speaker
Zac Lambrecht is a life coach, educator, and mentor who is passionate about helping the next generation build their lives on a strong foundation of faith, character, and purpose. Based in Mobile, Alabama, he works closely with middle and high school students, guiding them through the challenges of growing up with practical tools rooted in biblical truth.
As the founder of Coaching Young Men, Zac equips students to understand who they are in Christ, develop strong character, and make confident, wise decisions in everyday life. His approach is simple, relatable, and highly engaging—helping students not just hear truth, but actually apply it.
At this year’s camp, centered on the theme “Rooted: Growing Strong in Christ” (Colossians 2:6–7), Zac challenges students to build deep roots in their faith so they can stand strong in every season of life. Through real-life stories, interactive teaching, and meaningful discussion, he helps students see that their identity is not based on performance or popularity—but on who God says they are.
Zac lives in Mobile with his wife and twin sons. With over 20 years of experience in leadership, coaching, and education, he continues to walk alongside students and families with a clear mission: to equip the next generation with vision, values, and practical strategies for life—and to remind them that their beginning doesn’t have to define their ending.
Social Entrepreneur • Community Leader • Living with Purpose
Matt Armbruster is the co-founder of Ransom Ministries in Mobile, Alabama—a movement
dedicated to helping people break cycles of poverty, addiction, and incarceration
and step into lives of purpose and independence.
In 2010, Matt and his wife Tara took a bold step of faith after being challenged to
stop simply “going to church” and start living out their faith. What began as a donation-based
café quickly grew into a network of programs focused on job training, life skills,
and long-term transformation—impacting over 500,000 lives in the Mobile community.
Matt’s message is simple but powerful: purpose isn’t something you wait to find—it’s
something you step into. Through his work, he challenges people to take ownership,
serve others, and use the gifts God has given them right where they are. At Middle
School Impact, Matt will challenge students to discover their God-given purpose and
start living it out today—not someday.
