Trout wins MidAmerica Award

At its recent conference, the Society for the Study of Midwestern Literature presented its 2017 MidAmerica Award to Steven Trout for his distinguished contribution to the study of Midwestern literature. Trout was honored for his work in American cultural studies, particularly his extensive publications on Willa Cather and Ernest Hemingway, as well as his work on Midwesterners such as John Steuart Curry and Thomas Alexander Boyd.
