Jordan Temples (Class of 2018)

Jordan Temples

I am an Assistant District Attorney for the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office in Massachusetts, as well as a trial team coach for Suffolk University Law School's National Trial Team. My work as an Assistant District Attorney requires me to communicate and collaborate with many different people on a daily basis ranging from members of the community to investigation teams. I am responsible for prosecuting criminal cases which means not only understanding the law, but also listening and learning from individuals and groups who have been involved or affected by these cases.

While at the University of South Alabama, I was provided with countless opportunities to do research and travel the world. I was able to learn not only from the professors, but from people all over the world. The Anthropology program at the University of South Alabama taught me to be a critical thinker and provided me with a strong foundation for understanding how to work with people, both of which are crucial as an attorney. My time at South had a significant impact on my abilities and I wouldn't be where I am without it.
