Bio

Donna Retzlaff-Roberts joined the Mitchell College of Business in 2003. She was instrumental in providing a strong statistical grounding for MCOB students for many years, teaching the two applied business statistics courses and operations research at the undergraduate level and operations management and analytical decision making at the graduate level. Prior to joining the MCOB faculty, Dr. Retzlaff-Roberts was a professor at Memphis State.  Dr. Retzlaff-Roberts earned a BS in Civil Engineering and an MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois and a PhD in Quantitative Analysis from the University of Cincinnati.  Before becoming a professor, she worked for Proctor and Gamble as a Statistician where she designed experiments for problem solving and process improvement, and she was also a trainer in statistics and total quality management.
