Dr. Terry Motley

Terry Motley, PhD, an assistant professor in the Department of Marketing, Supply Chain Management and Analytics at the Mitchell College of Business.

Motley is a graduate of Spring Hill College with a Bachelor of Science in international business and from William Carey University with a Master of Business Administration and a PhD in business administration from the University of South Alabama. 

He transitioned from industry to academia in 2023 as an assistant professor at the University of Mobile and has also served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of South Alabama. bringing more than 20 years of supply chain and logistics experience to the classroom, having worked with Ingalls Shipbuilding, FedEx Ground and United Parcel Service. 

Motley is active in the community as a member of the 100 Black Men of Great Mobile and holds professional memberships with the Society for Marketing Advances and the American Marketing Association.
