Mitchell College of Business Welcomes Matt Chambless, CPA, CGMA

The Mitchell College of Business welcomes Matt Chambless, CPA, CGMA as instructor in the Department of Accounting.
Chambless is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and finance. He earned a Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia and is currently pursuing his PhD in Business Administration at Kennesaw State University.
Chambless is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He has more than two decades of extensive experience in corporate accounting including more than ten years of senior-level public company experience. He most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer for TruBridge, formerly known as Computer Programs and Systems, Inc. (CPSI).
Chambless is a valuable resource for aspiring accounting and business professionals in the Mitchell College. As a faculty member, his real-world expertise in areas like corporate strategy, financial planning, risk management and compliance will provide students with practical insights, equipping them to be work-force ready professionals.
