Executive Leadership Series Fall 2018: Kent Taylor
Posted on November 1, 2018 by MCOB Outreach
Each semester the Mitchell College of Business hosts the Executive Leadership Series (ELS). This event provides our students the opportunity to learn first-hand from leading executives as they discuss their career and leadership experiences. Their experiences bridge the gap between the classroom and corporate world. Students are able to gain insight on incorporating knowledge into practice.
The Fall semester ELS featured speaker was Kent Taylor, Founder, CEO and Chairman of Texas Roadhouse. Taylor shared with students his journey of creating a successful restaurant chain, about how to be entrepreneur. He has over 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry and opened the first Texas Roadhouse in 1993. Today, Texas Roadhouse has over 550 locations in 49 states and eight countries.
