Dr. Reid Cummings, along with co-authors John Martinez and Michael Mills, won a Best Paper Award for, “The Increasing Trend in Commercial Real Estate Lending by Community Banks: The Role of Deliberate Risk-Taking, 2001-2017,” presented at the Academy of Business Research Spring 2019 International Conference, New Orleans, Louisiana, March 2019.

Dr. Reid Cummings presented “A Hedonic Pricing Method to Estimate the Value of Waterfronts in the Gulf of Mexico (with Ram Dahal, Daniel Petrolia, Robert Grala, Jason Gordon, and Ian Munn) at the 2019 American Real Estate Society Annual Conference, Paradise Valley, Arizona, April 2019.
