MBA students receive Grand Champion Award

The University of South Alabama Mitchell College of Business is pleased to announce Master of Business Administration graduates Jacob Lee and Jonathan Young were awarded Grand Champion status for best performing company in their industry in the Business Strategy Game (BSG) Best-Strategy Invitational. The graduates were part of a two-way tie for first place with Northwest Missouri State University.
Dr. Ron Eastburn, assistant professor of management at the Mitchell College of Business, stated: “It is a true honor to capture the first-place winning position in the BSG.” Young expressed his appreciation for his time with Dr. Eastburn. “I wanted to thank Dr. Ron Eastburn for the education I received in his MBA507 class and for introducing me to the BSG simulation. It was a pleasure and an honor to represent the University of South Alabama in this way.”
