Distinguished Honorary Membership

Dr. Cole and Dr. Maes were awarded the Distinguished Honorary Membership from the USA chapter of National Society of Collegiate Scholars. This honorary membership is a formal recognition of their outstanding contributions to the community. Dr. Maes served as a past advisor for NSCS.

Get Connected Day 2018

Get Connected Day 2018 had the largest student turnout to date. Get Connected Day is an opportunity for current students to learn more about how to get involved with student organizations in MCOB along with other resources available to them on campus, such as, dining and career services. This is also an opportunity for them to speak to professors outside of a classroom setting.

Meet the Firms

Students spoke to accounting firms from around the area about part-time, full-time and internship opportunities at Meet the Firms, hosted by University of South Alabama Career Services. 

2nd Story Business Event

Maranda Baker, Recruiter at Battle House Hotel and Spa and Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel, stopped by MCOB to speak to our students as part of the 2nd Story Business event.

The 2nd Story Business event is an opportunity for students to learn about companies and industries and also provides the opportunity for students to network with business professionals. #MCOBSnapshots

Doughnuts with the Dean

We started the semester off with Doughnuts with the Dean. This was an opportunity for new and returning students to chat with the Dean before classes were in session. #MCOBSnapshots
