Admissions

 

USA is closely monitoring the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and has implemented the following changes to protect the health of our prospective students.

  • Remote Operations- Beginning March 11, the university will transition to a temporary remote working environment. The Office of Admissions will be open remotely and is ready to assist you as needed. At this time the best method of communication will be through email at admiss@southalabama.edu. You may also call 251-460-6141 and leave a message that will be returned.
  • Applications Deadlines- USA is accepting applications on a rolling basis. We still encourage students to apply as soon as possible for maximum consideration. You may send any transcripts and test scores to admiss@southalabama.edu and we will continue to process documents and decisions daily. 
  • Self-Reporting – As we are aware requesting transcripts and test scores will be very limited during this time, we will begin to review files on self-reported information. All of this information will be verified and your admission will be contingent on receipt of official documents. If you do not have access to transcripts or test scores please complete the Freshman Self-Reported Form or the Transfer Self-Reported Form as well as the application and we will process as soon as possible.
